Evmos is a blockchain that is entirely compatible and interoperable with Ethereum. It has scalability, fast throughput, and Proof-of-Stake consensus. It was developed using the Cosmos Software Development Kit, which operates on top of the Tendermint Core consensus engine. Consequently, the Inter Blockchain Communication Protocol enables it to interface with other blockchains in the Cosmos ecosystem (IBC).

Who are eligible for the Rektdrop Airdrop?
Evmos is giving out a total of 100,000,000 EVMOS to different users of EVM and Cosmos as part of an airdrop. ATOM stakers, OSMO stakers, and LPs, various Ethereum dApps users such as Uniswap, OpenSea, DyDx, SushiSwap, AAVE, etc., EVM bridge users such as Arbitrum, Polygon, Hop Protocol, etc., users who got rugged such as Poly Network, MEV Victims, etc., and early EVMOS individual contributors who contributed by the snapshot date are eligible to claim the airdrop.

The snapshot was taken at 19:00 Universal Coordinated Time on November 25th, 2021.
Step-by-step guide:
- Visit the claim page for the Evmos airdrop.
- If you qualify as an EVM user, link your Metamask wallet and follow the instructions below. If you are eligible as a Cosmos ecosystem user, connect your Keplr wallet and follow this Keplr airdrop claim tutorial.
- ATOM stakers, OSMO stakers & LPs, various Ethereum dApps users like Uniswap, OpenSea, DyDx, SushiSwap, AAVE etc, EVM bridge users like Arbitrum, Polygon, Hop Protocol, etc, users who got rugged like Poly Network, MEV Victims, etc, and early EVMOS individual contributors are eligible to claim the airdrop by November 25th, 2021 at 19:00 UTC. - The claimable amount will be shown after the wallet has been connected.
- Now add Evmos mainnet support to Metamask.
- To get the full airdrop quantity, you must complete four claiming activities (in the form of transactions) on the Evmos blockchain in order to claim your Rektdrop, each action grants you 25% of your total claimable tokens and a chance to discover what you can accomplish on Evmos. These are the four actions:
- Participate in the Evmos community by casting a vote on a governance proposal.
- Secure your EVMOS tokens by staking (also known as delegating) them to a Validator.
- Perform a cross-chain transfer from Evmos to Osmosis/Cosmos Hub
- Interact with distributed apps (dApps) running on the Evmos EVM.
- Airdrop may be claimed for 44 days following launch, after which the quantity that can be claimed will decrease linearly for 60 days, and then any unclaimed EVMOS will be destroyed.

Add evmos to Metamask
If you haven’t previously, connect into your MetaMask account before opening the extension on your browser. Then choose Settings > Networks > Add Network by clicking the top-right circle, and then complete the form as seen below.

How to send Evmos from Metamask to Keplr
- Launch the Keplr wallet plugin and change the network to Evmos.
- Choose Deposit.
- Copy the address shown for the wallet.
- Navigate to the exchange or wallet where your Cosmos ATOMs are held, and then send your EVMOS to the copied Keplr wallet address.
- Your holdings should now be visible in your Keplr wallet.
