Exclusive NFT collection from Tesalia winery

On November 23, Bodega Tesalia presents its exclusive NFT collection with 150 numbered magnums from the 2022 harvest. Tesalia is the first Spanish winery to launch its collection of “digital twins.” 

A collaboration between InterCellar and Bodega Tesalia: 

In 2008, Richard Golding, former director of Schweppes Spain, acquired Tesalia, known as “the Jewel of the South”, located in Arcos de la Frontera, at the foot of the Sierra de Grazalema. Today, with more than a decade of experience, the Winery is at its peak after establishing itself as a benchmark in the production of red wines, thanks to its elegant and refined wines that come from its terroir. A key factor in the success of Bodega Tesalia lies in the unique climate of its estate, marked by heat and sun, as well as the Mediterranean and Atlantic influences coming from the Sierra de Grazalema. Thanks to the commitment of the Tesalia team since its inception, the winery offers three wines: Tesalia, Arx and Iceni, all coming from its 12.5 hectares of vineyards in Arcos de la Frontera. 

Tesalia presents an exclusive vintage, aged in a unique barrel in the world heated with lava stones. The 150 magnums of this vintage are aged exclusively in this barrel, in collaboration with Maison Moussié. They will be available for sale on November 23 at 2 p.m., with a price of €180 VAT included. 

Thanks to NFT technology, buyers become owners of a digital twin of the magnum, while the physical magnums are stored securely in a warehouse even during NFT exchanges. This is an innovative approach that limits the carbon footprint and preserves the quality of the bottles stored in the winery. 

Benefits for wine lovers and businessmen 

Each NFT grants the right to a visit and tasting at Bodega Tesalia. Additionally, one buyer will be selected for a private visit to Arcos de la Frontera, followed by an exclusive lunch at a restaurant, along with an exchange session with Richard Golding (owner of the winery and former director of Schweppes Spain).

As a reminder, InterCellar is a wine and spirits marketplace that offers the purchasing and storage of large bottles via digital twins. These cufflinks can be exchanged or resold on the platform, while the physical bottles remain stored in the winery or in a secure warehouse.

Regarding the sale:

● 150 NFTs from Bodega Tesalia “Mito Series”, 2022 harvest, are available on the intercellar.io site.

● Each magnum is numbered.

● Each NFT allows two people to visit the property and taste the winery’s wines.

● Among all the buyers, one lucky one will enjoy a private visit to Arcos de la Frontera, a lunch in a restaurant, and exclusive exchange time with Richard Golding (former director of Schweppes Spain).

● Magnums will be available for delivery starting in February 2025.
