Block Launches Bitkey Worldwide
Block, the company formerly known as Square Crypto and led by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, has launched its self-custody wallet Bitkey in more than 95 countries. Bitkey consists of an app, a hardware device, and recovery tools that allow users to securely store and manage their own bitcoin. Bitkey aims to make bitcoin more accessible and user-friendly while preserving the principles of decentralization and sovereignty.
CoinShares Reports Inflows into Digital Asset Investment Products
CoinShares, a leading digital asset investment firm, has released its latest report on the flows and allocations of digital asset investment products. According to the report, anticipation of ETFs has driven the largest surge in inflows since late 2021, reaching $1.7 billion over nine consecutive weeks. Bitcoin attracted over $1 billion in inflows last month, totaling $1.6 billion year-to-date. Ethereum also recorded inflows of $126 million, marking a significant turnaround. The report also found that minor bitcoin allocations can boost returns and diversification for investors.

Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), one of the most influential venture capital firms in the crypto industry, has published its list of “big ideas” for 2024, highlighting the trends and innovations that will shape the future of crypto. Among the predictions, a16z expects big improvements for artificial intelligence and decentralization, as well as the emergence of new use cases and business models for crypto. A16z also anticipates more regulatory clarity and institutional adoption, as well as more social and cultural impact from crypto.
