YTD (Year to date)
Year to Date (YTD) is a term that refers to the time period that runs from the beginning day of the current calendar year, or fiscal year, to the present day.
YTD data is important for examining financial and business patterns over time, as well as comparing performance statistics across investments in the same or other sectors. The word is most often employed in the conventional investment business, but it may also be used in blockchain and crypto investing to measure asset performance.
