Cherry Swap is a self-contained, open-source platform for trading interest rates on Compound Finance markets. Each Compound market has an interest rate, which fluctuates according to the supply and demand of credit and debt within that market.
Cherry Swap is designed to allow users to participate in the consumer goods credit and debt markets. These markets set the terms of loans, mortgages, and credit cards, allowing both lenders and borrowers to enter into “Swaps” that provide them with the best possible terms.
Market makers can supply funds for interest rate swaps in a wide range of currencies, countries and interest rates; as such, they can establish a trade at any time with any other part of the same market. This flexibility provides direct contact between asset holders and credit borrowers, thus eliminating the middle man (ie banks).
As an independent marketplace bringing credit buyers and sellers together, has built-in security mechanisms to deter cyberattacks.
