Telegram has launched a new feature that will allow users to send and receive cryptocurrencies from the app.

Telegram will allow its users to send and receive cryptocurrencies from their Telegram account, making it easier for people who use Telegram as a messaging app to manage their cryptocurrency.

The company’s CEO, Pavel Durov, recently announced that the new feature would be available in October. This new feature is part of a broader plan for Telegram’s future.

How does it work?

Telegram will store the user’s private keys on the device so that users can make transactions in the app. The user will be able to select which currency they want to send and receive in the app.

Once a user receives a cryptocurrency, they can then send it to another user or exchange it for another currency. If a user wants to exchange their cryptocurrency for another currency, they can do so directly within the app or by using an exchange service such as Changelly or ShapeShift.

The company is currently working on integrating other third-party services into the app as well.

The integration of cryptocurrency capabilities was first mentioned in 2018 when Telegram announced its plans to launch a blockchain platform and associated cryptocurrency.

The new feature is called “Telegram Open Network” or TON. It uses a cryptocurrency called “Grams.” In order to use TON, you need to install the Telegram Wallet application on your smartphone. You can then use it to send and receive Grams from other users, as well as pay for services on Telegram.

Telegram plans to launch an initial coin offering (ICO) for Grams in March of next year, according to The Verge.
