  • $72.4 million trading volume for BSOL on Wednesday, surpassing the $56 million from its launch day.
  • $69.5 million in inflows on debut day, boosting assets under management to nearly $292 million.
  • “$72m is a huge number. Good sign,” Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said on X.

The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) continued its strong market reception on Wednesday, posting $72.4 million in trading volume just one day after its NYSE debut.

This figure marks a 29% increase from the ETF’s first-day volume of $56 million, which was already the highest among nearly 850 ETF launches in 2025. The performance underscores sustained investor appetite for direct Solana exposure through a regulated staking product.

Launched on October 28, BSOL attracted $69.5 million in net inflows on its inaugural trading session, outpacing competitors like Grayscale’s Solana Trust (GSOL), which saw about $4 million in volume. With a competitive 0.20% management fee, the ETF stakes its holdings to generate yield, appealing to institutions seeking both price appreciation and staking rewards.

Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas highlighted the second-day surge as a positive indicator, noting that most new ETFs experience a volume drop after initial hype. “Most ETFs drop after the first-day hype is over,” he added in a follow-up post.

While the ETF’s early success signals maturing demand for altcoin products, analysts caution that broader market volatility and regulatory uncertainties around staking could pose risks. Solana’s price, trading around $195, has risen modestly amid the ETF buzz, but sustained inflows will depend on network performance and macroeconomic factors.

Community reaction on X has been enthusiastic, with Solana advocates pointing to the ETF as validation of the blockchain’s scalability and ecosystem growth.
