“Among the Stars”: an event of the Polkadot and Kusama community for Latin America
Madrid, April 19, 2022.- The Polkadot community and its Canarian network, Kusama, will hold a major international event, where attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the experiences and knowledge of the greatest exponents of the blockchain world in Latin America.
The activity will take place on April 22, 23 and 24 of this year, in the town of La Serena, in Chile. It will have the presence of renowned personalities from the Latin American environment; visits to different colleges and universities; talks at the Galileo Astronomical Observatory located in the Elqui Valley; an open meetup for everyone at the Hotel Plaza Serena; art workshops, painting and footvolley matches. There will also be an astrophotography contest, where anyone in the world can enter and the winners will receive an NFT as a prize.
An important fact to keep in mind is that the main activity , the development of the meetup in the Main Events Hall of the Plaza Serena Hotel, will cross borders and will be broadcast live on YouTube, on Saturday, April 23 from 4:30 p.m. UTC-4, thus allowing anyone from Latin America, Spain or any other part of the world to access the talks of the panel of experts who are part of the blockchain ecosystem.
In this streaming, the benefits and applicability of the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem will be discussed, as well as their relationship with the community, and the possibility of a “Questions and Answers” format will be opened with the attendees who are watching the signal live.
Among the speakers, the presence of Juan Jose Miranda, president of the Association Blockchain & DLT Peru ABPE, stands out, who will share his experience in DAOs, blockchain, innovation and other fundamental aspects for the future of this technology. Also present will be Francisco Albornoz , ambassador for Polkadot, Subspace and main ambassador for Zeitgeist; Alexis Landaeta, Polkadot Chief Ambassador for the region; María Paz Navarro and Osvaldo Miranda: founders and CEO and CTO respectively, of the Atacama Telescope project; Simon León, innovation engineer at NTT DATA Digital Lab; Joseph Sanchez, founding member of Cadena Blockchain Bussines & Group spa;Alberto Torres, Founding member of Cadena Group and Dotsama Adventure; Marcelo Pérez de Arce Gómez: founder and member of Cadena Group and Dotsama Adventure; Wolf Group, the law firm focused on legal advice in the blockchain world; Mario Maldonado and Eduardo Cardoso, NFT´S artists; Crypto Mac zum, a member of the Polkadot and Kusama community and Francisco Manuel De Pablo from Numa to talk about the project Zeitgeist is working on.
